With these facts in mind, I'm now running 6 and 12 week yoga for lower back health courses. These courses aim to support anyone with mild or moderate lower back pain. We cover:

How to mindfully stretch, create length and stretch the body in relation to healing the back

How to bring more awareness and confidence into the body and mind

The course encourages positive long-term lifestyle and behavioural changes. It addresses other 'bio-psycho-social' aspects that may be affecting back problems; eg joint and muscle pains, arthritis, stress, mood, anxiety, tention, return to work strategies.
